Voting instructions 

For the 2024 General Election (Tuesday November 5th 2024):

• Polls are open 7am - 8pm

• Monday October 21st is the last day to register to vote

• Tuesday October 29th by 5pm is the deadline to apply for a mail-in or absentee ballot

If you are voting by mail or absentee:

• If you have not dropped your completed ballot back in the mail by October 29th (a week before the election), be sure to submit your ballot by hand at a designated drop-off location (ballots received by Philadelphia in the mail after 8pm on election night will not be counted)

• Designated drop-off locations near the 14th Ward:

  • Ballot drop-box at 520 N Christopher Columbus Blvd • just to the south of the SW corner of the Christopher Columbus Blvd and Spring Garden St intersection 

  • Ballot drop-box at City Hall • on the right-hand-side of the south portal of City Hall

  • City Hall, Room 142

• If you are dropping off your ballot, you must do so by 8pm on election night
